Laid Up....

Spent the afternoon at my new fave spot, the lay-up. Stumbled upon some locals from both Ohio and SC, also realized I am officially a rail head/junkie/fan. Bout to start my freight race and after 4 years in the game its about that time.

RT vs. KOC Graff Life Battle at Gallery 80

RT

KOC

Though I am affiliated with both crews and im trying to stay unbiased (for now), I will give it to the KOC heads for having a complete prodo with matching themes, colors, and characters. The RT heads did do there thing and I was impressed to see that writers down here do have original styles and for the most are all cool individuals or typical graff kids. I will have more flicks up from the show at Gallery 80 Columbus St (represent) soon....

Barrel 44 Whiskey Bar

Went here for the first time with my lady friend Monica, had to google map it to remember the name. I usually don't go to many bars in the short north, I still haven't made it to Bodega...at least not sober and/or for happy hour. But I dug the place, it didn't feel like a pretentious bar as most people describe bars in the area. Not that it would matter to me in the first place, but it had a nice relaxed setting and I think I even heard an Isley Brothers track. Didn't spend much money either, I drank a Wild Turkey and Sprite for the first time and damn was it strong, and finished that off with a Budweiser. My tab came out at $8.25ish, I guess kinda of pricey for a mixed drink and one beer but it wasn't bad. I will Mos def. will be going back to this place w/friends and yall should check it out for yoselfs.

Carabar and Old Towne East Fun.

So I heard/saw The Slide Machine at Comfest 09' with a few other TPG's and they were dope. In that set they had 3 guest drummers I believe, including Ahmed Gallab of Sinkane. This is the bands "final show" and also the dood DJ Self Help a.k.a Danny J hipped me to a party in the neighborhood so this should be a fun eve.

Happy Hour Is Fuuuuuun!

This is the spot where you will find us Columbus Punks drankin, boozin, wylin on a friday afternoon (as in about an hour) into the eve. Happy Hour is from 5-9pm, $1 drafts and $1.50 shots (I prefer tequila just F.Y.I).
