Summer Has Been Fun!

This Weekend In Charleston, SC...

I guess you can say ive settled into the south quite well. Im definitely running with the right crowd of people (graff life browe) but its the variety of the group (foreign people are fun/ny) that I appreciate thanks to the dood Willy Mac who has been my guide around town. Ive found dope beaches and tasty beer thats cheap (tho I miss my $2.99 ginny sixers) and a nice chill spot. The day after Get Right at Skate Naked was held (and yes I am a quite a bit salty I missed that) the homie Willy, the homegirl JayJay and I went to the North Chuck (Charleston) skate park for a competition/party that was goodtime and made up for the fact that I wasnt able to Get Right with the folks back home. The rest of the weekend saw a tropical storm warning, me cooking fish for the first time, my girls birthday celebration with her moms in town and a piece session at my chillspot, the complex. This weekend gave me the confidence that the decision I made to move down here was worth it and there are gonna be many great fuckin times to be had in the south that I will post up here.

Get Right tonight at Skullys, Gallery Hop goin down as well in the Short its startin to feel like summer again. Haven't been in a couple months due to work and not a big fan of Icon/Cove, but no excuse to miss this tonight, as long as they play that new Jeezy and some Waka ill be good, look for me drunk belligerently yellin Briiiiccksquaaad!!!!!!

So here in Espana, the Japanese Prime minister is on the paper, large page. WTF I told everyone, he's the fucking 4th guy to go, and swearing oath and promises to the Emperor, which mean to the Japanese idle civilians, what he do? And yeh, what did Ozawa do? He is the real guy, the keyman and what happened??? Besides the politics, here are some pics around Ourense just dicking off with the same friends.

Barrel 44 Whiskey Bar

Went here for the first time with my lady friend Monica, had to google map it to remember the name. I usually don't go to many bars in the short north, I still haven't made it to Bodega...at least not sober and/or for happy hour. But I dug the place, it didn't feel like a pretentious bar as most people describe bars in the area. Not that it would matter to me in the first place, but it had a nice relaxed setting and I think I even heard an Isley Brothers track. Didn't spend much money either, I drank a Wild Turkey and Sprite for the first time and damn was it strong, and finished that off with a Budweiser. My tab came out at $8.25ish, I guess kinda of pricey for a mixed drink and one beer but it wasn't bad. I will Mos def. will be going back to this place w/friends and yall should check it out for yoselfs.
